If you were anywhere near Remnant Ministries on packing day, you could feel the energy and purpose in the air. On our big day, our city came together in a way that makes us both proud and humbled to be part of this community.
We didn’t just pack a few shoeboxes—we packed approximately 13,500 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes in one day, all between 9am and 3pm.
Over the course of just six hours, we saw an incredible turnout of between 400 and 500 volunteers from every corner of Las Vegas and people came from Arizona, Utah and California. SOS Radio Station was on-site broadcasting, lifting everyone’s spirits and sharing the heart behind what we do. We had at least 10 churches represented—and honestly, it might have been more. We had several local companies teams such as Sunrise Carpentry as well. Churches and members of the community worked side by side, united by one purpose: to send hope and the love of Jesus to kids across the world.
With so many hands, the pace never let up. We filled not one, not two, but three full OCC trailers with gift-filled shoeboxes. Volunteers kept their spirits high, fueled by food trucks parked out front and plenty of laughter, even as we all worked ourselves to the bone. By the end of the day, we were tired, sore, and totally grateful—because every single box represents a child who will know they are loved.
There’s no way to capture the full impact in a few words. But I can say this: God showed up in a big way, and so did this community. Thank you to everyone who gave up a Saturday, brought their families, invited their churches, or just showed up ready to work. We made a difference together.

Next years party: November 8th also from 9am to 3pm at Remnant Ministries Gymnasium (soft soled shoes only) where we hope to pack over 15,000 love filled, quality shoeboxes.
